Description and location.

This is really a very pleasant studio apartment. It is very well equipped and by its proximity to the beach and it´s excellent connection with the old town it is comfortable base for exploring Barcelona:
At less than a 10 minutes walk you find the sandy beach of Nova Icaria Barcelona, located next to the Olympic harbour and the characteristic "Twin Towers" of Barcelona.
The historic city centre of Barcelona is also within walking distance. It is only a 5 minutes walk to reach the very pleasant ´Parc de la Ciutadella´ that you will pass on your way to the hip district 'El Born', part of the old city.
The subway station that gives access to the yellow line and that takes you in only three stops directly to the centre of Barcelona, lies at 250 meters from the apartment.

The apartment itself is fully equipped. Suitable for 4 persons it is modern, spacious, light and an with undisturbed view on a green courtyard, it provides you an oasis of tranquility in busy Barcelona.

The apartment includes:

* An area that is lounge / living room with comfortable sofa/sleeping couch, TV, DVD player, stereo and a dining table with four chairs.
* Sleeping area with king size bed doublebed that can also be converted into two single beds.
* Spacious bathroom equipped with shower, sink and toilet.
* Half-open, american-like kitchen separated from the living area by a buffet, with electric cooker (2 pips), oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave.
* Free use of the WIFI network for your internet connection.
* View, overlooking a green courtyard.
* Extraordinary conveniently located in relation to the old town, the district 'El Born,' 'Parc de la Ciutadella´ and the beach (Platja Nova Icaria).



Rates and availability.

Please note that are some special conditions during special events or periods.
Special events in 2010 are :
* Discount rate for stays in January;
* 3GSM Trade fair, 02/14/2010 - 02/19/2010: surcharge 100%
* Easter holiday, 04/03/2010 - 04/10/2010: surcharge 20%
* Christmas holidays, 12/24/2010 - 01/02/2011: surcharge 20%

The apartment is also available for long term rental periods: when you plan to stay for a period longer than 7 nights you can rent it for a reduced price. Please do feel free to contact us about this.

Some other things to know:
* Any additional person (to a maximum of 4) is 10 Euros per person per night.
* We provide you with the towels and bed linen, no extra charges.
* Cleaning charge levy on departure is EUR 40,- .
* Minimum number of nights: 3 (during high season: 4)
