Description of location and residence

This beautifully restored, original farmhouse, a typical Catalan mansion, is located in the Pre-Pyrenees of Catalonia. It is at about 120 kilometers distance from Barcelona and it has been converted in a very comfortable, well equipped countryside residence.
In a very peaceful, quiet setting and surrounded by nature it provides all the elements for a relaxed stay.
It is a beautiful place to enjoy and explore this inner parts of Catalonia from here and at only three kilometers distance you will find the charming, little medieval town of Solsona.

The residence is very well provided with equipment, like a private pool, and it is a true paradise for children to play around.
Because of its distribution and size, the residence is especially well suited for a larger group of persons like two families with children.

The residence is equipped with the following:
* 4 bedrooms, suitable for 2 persons (some have a double bed, some two single beds). In total 10 persons have a place to sleep,
* 2 bathrooms, with shower and toilet.
* a livingroom with television, HIFI-equipment, fire place, sitting area, dining table.
* an open kitchen with microwave, crockery/cuttlery, kitchen utensils, cooker and oven, refridgerator, dishwasher. A machine for your laundry is also present. The residence has a central heating system.
* a large, private outside area with a sunny terrace, swimmingpool and BBQ place.

Rates and availability

Standard rental period of the residence is a week.

The use of bed clothes and the final cleaning are all included in the rates.


The whole setting and the countryside are ideal to spend some time here different than in the summer. In winter there is a closeby skiing area and the more snow garanteed slopes of the mountains of Andorra are also close by.
The months of September and October are perfect to enjoy a sweet and warm autumn and in springtime there is a beautiful green landscape to enjoy.
